All Saints’ Episcopal Church Celebrates St. Francis Day
with the Annual
Blessing of the Animals

Father Bradley Wirth conducted the Blessinag and hosted adoptable pets from the local shelters for people to meet and hopefully bring into their lives and homes.

The church pledged to pay half of the adoption fees for five adult dogs and five adult cats to help people afford the adoption. The dogs and cats will have all their shots, be spayed and neutered, have a micro chip implanted, and come with a bag of food.

At the event each animal received a certificate, a St. Francis medal for his or her collar and a treat.

Many thanks to Father Wirth and his Congregation for their generous offer to help shelter animals find a home of their own.

The day was a wonderful celebration to honor of our furry friends.
